New Name

Came up with a new name! I'm going to change it on Etsy and eventually make a Facebook site. With getting my hours cut back at work I need to focus more on developing a craft business.

On another note I'm working on crocheting Christmas presents. Unfortunately I can't post any until after I give them to my friends and family!

Bought a Nissan Cube!

My first car purchase! It's used but only has 16k miles on it! I'm not crazy about the outside look of it but the inside is awesome! It has color changing lights and a ripple texture ceiling. They call the color Scarlet Red but it's really a maroon. Love the way it drives! More fuel efficient than my Volvo!! Despite getting a great deal the loan is intimidating. It's worth finally having a car where I'm not worrying about if I'll break down.

I tried to teach my boyfriend how to crochet last night. By HIS request. After a few tries he understood how to make a chain. But gave up on the actual crochet in the second row. Too bad because if he stuck with it a little longer he would have gotten it! He says he'll just pay me to make whatever he wants hahaha!

Crochet Dr. House

Dr. House
I had a request to make Dr. House. I based my pattern on Snuffykin's 10th Doctor Who Pattern. I had a little trouble finding the right color yarn for his hair so I settled for this dull brown. I had a lot of fun making it! I used a brown ultra fine sharpie marker to draw specks of stubble on his jaw/cheeks. I had so much fun with the details that I bought clay to make his cane and pill bottle! I think they came out good considering I never use clay. I even made a small pocket on the inside of his coat for his pills!

It was much appreciated and probably is my best work so far!

Crochet Turtle and Dolphin

I made this turtle for my mom for mother's day. She loves to save turtles off the road and keep them for the summer in a small habitat in our yard. I figured I'd make her one she can keep year round!

I made this Dolphin for my best friend who loves dolphins. It's bigger than most amigurumi I've made.

Crochet Snoopy

 Crochet Snoopy!!
The pattern was great and it came out perfect. I can't remember what site it was on but I will keep looking!

Straw shrimp

A shrimp made out of a bendy straw!! How cool is that!?

Try it!

Manatee and Narwhal

Made a manatee for a friend. I had no pattern and just winged it! Came out pretty good I think!

This Narwhal I made for my brother. He loves unusual animals. Again I had no patter and just winged it. I found this yarn at at a thrift shop. LOVE IT! I used a pipe cleaner for it's tusk.

Dragon Ball

The boyfriend demanded this one. I used this Perfect Sphere Pattern and just added a star. The star was harder than expected so I kept it a one star dragon ball. He loves it!

April Draven Mario Mushroom Hat

I took April Draven's Mario Mushroom Hat Pattern and made it a Posion Mushroom hat for my boyfriend. It's a little sloppy but hey I haven't been crocheting that long! I made myself a one up one but don't have a photo. They are cozy and warm! Thanks April!!

NeedleNoodles Cthulhu

Cthulhu
CTHULHU!!!

Another adorable amigurumi from Creepy Cute Crochet. I think I messed up the tentacles. I was still pretty new to crochet so its okay. I did googly eyes instead of the clay eyes she did. I like it better this way :)

Here is hers: Cthulhu

NeedleNoodles Ninjas

I made these Amigurumi Ninjas based on  NeedleNoodles Ninja
Everyone loves how cute they are!

I got the pattern out of her book Creepy Cute Crochet.  I used felt instead of some other material she used for the eyes and ninja star. I like making brighter colored ones with happy eyes! I think it would be cool to make a ton and have a little ninja army!!

Crochet Giraffe

This was my first crochet project. It was made December of 2009. It was made for my Giraffe loving boyfriend. I think it came out fantastic consider I had just started crocheting!

The pattern used was found at JoAnn Fabrics online projects.

Welcome!

I'll post some old creations I made before creating this blog. Then update them as I make more! Some items will be for sale on Etsy so keep eye out for links on their posts!
